Service Description

In this year long course, scholars will go through 38-weeks of U.S. History from the pre-colonial era where Native nations flourished through the present, where we’re grappling with the results of a complicated past. Geography, writing and reading skills will be reinforced. Using such texts as A Young People’s History of the United States (Zinn), A Different Mirror (Takaki), and Heart & Soul (Nelson) and many other books, students will learn history through the eyes of Native Americans, African Americans and immigrants. Upon course enrollment, students will receive an email with login details. Ideal for students in grades 3-8. *Class meets 1x/week online *Note: This class must have at least 4 students to run.*

Cancellation Policy

If service or course is cancelled 14 or more days prior to start dates, you will receive 50% refund. If service or course is cancelled 3-14 days prior to start dates, you will receive 50% refund. If cancelled 3 days or less (including day of service/class), you will receive 0% refund.
