Service Description

This is a 9 week online course. Scholars will learn and use the 9 elements of digital citizenship. These elements outline appropriate technology use and prepare scholars to be responsible, digital citizens. Digital citizenship is the continuously developing norms of appropriate, responsible, and empowered technology use. -To lead and assist others in building positive digital experiences -To recognize that our actions have consequences to others -To participate in a manner for the common good In this course we will cover: 1. Digital Access 2. Digital Commerce 3. Digital Communication and Collaboration 4. Digital Etiquette 5. Digital Fluency 6. Digital Health and Welfare 7. Digital Law 8. Digital Rights and Responsibility 9. Digital Security and Privacy Scholars will participate in hands-on activities in the virtual classroom including watching recorded videos, completing assignments and responding to discussions. Upon course enrollment, students will receive an email with login details. However, students will participate in office hours to meet with the teacher individually and get feedback on assignments. Ideal for students in grades 5-8.

Cancellation Policy

If service or course is cancelled 14 or more days prior to start dates, you will receive 50% refund. If service or course is cancelled 3-14 days prior to start dates, you will receive 50% refund. If cancelled 3 days or less (including day of service/class), you will receive 0% refund.
